The international Congress on Occupational Safety & Health (A+A) is the largest national and international meeting for specialists in the field of safety, health and workplace design.

Over 350 high-ranking experts from the fields of politics and research and the practical field of occupational safety itself  were speaking on current social developments, planned reforms at national and European level, and new scientific findings.

Meeting of the European Networks in Occupational Safety&Health

At Euroepan level the networking of organisations and institutions in the field of occupational safety&health is very varied. As part of the A+A Congress, Basi offered these networks the chance to exchange information on their work an discuss topics of common interest.

 

International Conference "Making Decent Work a Global Goal and a National Reality"

This conference was held the the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in collaboration with the ISSA, the HVBG, the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Protuguese Ministry of Labour and Social Security as well as other international and European organisations.

The main topics were:

  • Making decent Work an National Reality
  • Good Governance and Labour Inspection
  • Decent Work at the Enterprise Level
  • Prevention and Social Security

The conference brought together experts from all over the world to address the challenges of making decent work a practical reality for millions of workers worldwide. Particular emphasis was given to the need to modernize and revitalize national systems for safety and health at work such as the labour inspectorates, as well as the need for effective social dialogue between all stakeholders, including those in the supply chain. More
